Hoorah!
Just a quick post (pics to follow later). I've finally finished and sewn up the cargo jumper. Its currently sat on the dummy waiting for MM and I to take a pic of it. I'm also hoping to be able to take a pic of it being worn by the lady in question but that will be Wednesday.

Seven times Seven meme
Ruth/Roxy have both tagged me with this and I have finally got around to doing it. It will also help out my SP as well to some degree, how much I wouldn't like to hazard a guess but here goes nothing:
Seven things to do before I die:-
1. Use up all the stash.
2. Get to Egypt
3. Get to Greece
4. Swim with dolphins.
5. Retire before I hit 50 (as if!)
6. Get a new dog in fact several.
7. Buy a house, clear all debts and live happily ever after.
8. Make sure I've got clean underwear on if it involves a bus (that's what I was always told as a child).
Seven things I cannot do:-
1. Touch my nose with my tongue.
2. Speak French
3. Drive.
4. Yoga
5. Make filo pastry.
6. Fry eggs.
7. Read a book and then analyse it critically.
Seven things that attract me to blogging:-
1. Everyone I knew seemed to have one.
2. Being able to share my knitting with people who appreciate my output and recognise exactly what has gone into it.
3. Something to encourage me to develop a working HTML knowledge.
4. Meeting other knitters online via other people's blogs.
5. Being able to give vent to what I wanted to without needing to find a captive audience.
6. Knowing that people read my blog and appreciate what I post.
7. Its cheaper than buying your own website lol

Tsk
Here is a mini post. I have been very bad so far this year with my blog. I have hardly done any blogging.
Secret Pal
My SP is reading my blog quite often and I feel quite naughty at not having blogged as regular as I would have liked. It is just work has been so busy and I remarked to the partner I work for that is just seems to have gotten more and more busy since I started at the end of May last year.
I am just so looking forward to Brighton in February as it is going to be the first time since the New Years Day when I can do some properly bulk knitting. I think I'll be taking down baby patterns/yarns to knit with. I normally knit blanket squares when I am in transit but the train journey is going to be about 4 hours all told so I'll be making good use of the time. The only downside though for me for Brighhton is that I don't really know anybody there so I'll be lonely all on my ownsome. I wonder if I can get the hotel to house the cats!!
On that note I had made a reservation with a separate hotel via a link someone gave me. I rang the company up today citing the reference and saying that I wanted to cancel the booking. I had tried emailing them last night but the e-mail bounced back saying it was a non-valid e-mail address despite it being on their website. Anyway the reference on the printout from them was invalid, they did not hold any record of my booking. I then asked them to contact the hotel and double-check with them and as I have given approx 3 weeks notice if I was charged any penalty on my credit card I would be raising a complaint. Despite having given her all my details (name email address etc) she wanted to take my details. I promptly told her that the details I had given her she could use to contact me and that as I was off for a meeting calling me back would be no good. When I got back to my desk I had an e-mail saying that the hotel did not hold any reservation details for me. This led me to think what on earth would I have done had I got down there at 10pm on the Thursday night with nowhere to stay!!!

My Blog Up
I played with my blog last night and changed the template over. I lost all of my information including links. Was very annoying as I have all my favourite sites on my blog for ease of access.
I've now spent 3 hours sorting through and curing the problem.
The morale of this story. Knit less and read HTML more. Well maybe!
